5 DAYS WORKSHOP ON BASIC DRAWING  JULY 19-23,2021

­­                The Department of Visual Communication organized 5 days workshop on Basic Drawing – How to learn drawing step by step for beginners for +2 and UG students from July 19, 2021 to July 23, 2021  by Mr. V.Rajagopal, Artist, Technical instructor, SRMIST. Total 248 students registered for the workshop. Day 1 Session started with the Basic warm up exercise on drawing – circle, bean shape, straight line, diagonal line, geometric shape based drawings. From Day 2 to Day 5 students were taught how to draw the following 1. User friendly geometric shape drawing using step by step including Square, Circle, Rectangle, Triangle. 2. Drawing cartoon using circle and oval shape. 3. Drawing Human face using basic shapes. 4. Body parts construction including eye, nose, lips, ear using simple steps. 5. Creating cartoon characters using circle and oval shapes 6. Drawing full figure, illustrated cartoon drawing 7. Doubts of the students were clarified and given tips to improve the drawing technique. The event was organized and conducted by V.Rajagopal, Artist, Technical instructor, Dept. of Visual Communication, SRM IST, Ramapuram Campus.
