DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE (AF) – Orientation Program Report
Department of Commerce (AF) organized an Orientation program for B.Com AF leads on 30th June 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. This session has been organized to explain the basic details about B.Com AF, the details like department syllabus, scope, opportunities, and placement details were delivered by Dr. V. Deepa. The guest speaker was heartily welcomed by Dr. V. Deepa, Head In-charge, B. Com AF and Guest was introduced to the gathering by Dr. R. Aarthi Alamelu.
The session was very informative and interactive. Resource person Prof. J.S. Sivaprakash enthusiastically delivered the speech. Students were asked to post their answers in the chat box and the session went as two way communication. Guest pointed out that commerce students should create “employment’, they should explore their knowledge in research as a child. He also gave beautiful explanation for BUDGET URL to excel in academic and personal life. He asked the students to “pitch the task high’. Finally he gave speech to parents, asked them to give liberty to their kids to choose the career.
The session was very interactive, students also participated enthusiastically and clarified their doubts relevant to topic. Nearly 24 leads participated in the orientation program. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. R. Vinodhini, Assistant Professor of Commerce (AF). Dr. R. Aarthi Alamelu Assistant Professor hosted the event with great enthusiasm.
