ONLINE WORKSHOP ON
HANDBAG AND MACRAME WALL HANGING
Department of Fashion designing, SRM Institute of Science and Humanities, Ramapuram organized a 5 days online workshop for School and college students on 1st of July 2021. Around 31 school students from various region of Tamil Nadu and Kerala registered for the workshop. Ms R. Malathy, Head Department of Fashion Designing, SRMIST, Ramapuram, Chennai delivered the welcome address and explained about the course detail and infrastructure facility for the participants. Workshop session was handled by Ms Chinnu Babu, Assistant Professor, SRMIST. Ramapuram. workshop was started with an introductory note about the macrame and about the different knots in the macrame and things required for macrame. Next, she explained how to do the macrame hand bag. She explained the procedure in detail. She explained how to do different macrame wall hanging. Later the session is ended with doubt clearing and interactive session.
