On day 1 – 06.07.21

On day 2 – 07.07.21
Mr.M.M.Rengaswamy, a professional Cinematographer who have done many tamil films, spoke about “Types of Lenses”and shared his experinces with them..his focus was mainly on to those students who wants to get into cinema industry and advised them to have wider knowledge about their chosen field…
On day 3 – 08.07.21
Mr.Augustus Daniel vijay, Who was an alumni of our Cinematography department of 2012 to 15 batch and currently working as a productiom manager in UpGrad Jeet @Bangalore.
His topic was “film camera vs digital camera “.Students have gained immense knowledge and information from this session. .he shared his personal experience too along with his topic. He also shared his view of how film tech department have given him the confidence and with that how he went for higher studies to United Kingdom to pursue M.A in Cinematography.
On day 4 – 09.07.21
Mr.Sakthi Saravanan cinematographerWho has done films like Chennai-28, Saroja, Siva Manusula Sakthi, Goa, Mankatha and many more block buster films to his credit..his topic was “Composition and its Importance “. He also dealt about the importance of processing and DI( Digital intermediate). He also insisted the students the importance of studying in a film school which he said will give them the confidence to step into the film industry. The session was so absorbing and knowledgeable it went on for nearly 2.40 mins….
Day 5 – 10.07.21
Mr. Prem Trivedi , faculty of our cinemtography department, handled the topic ” Relationship between Director and Cinematographer “…he explained how a Cinematographer should act as an eye of a director and advised them not to overdo the basic requirements of a script….
After every session there was an interaction between the resource person and the participants…they had many queries and got their answers for it. The participants have expressed their happiness and thanked the srm management, college of science and humanities and srm school of film technology by organizing such an wonderful webinar. At the end of the 5 days webinar digital certificates were sent to the participants. On the whole it was an enriching experience for one and all…
