WELCOME ADDRESS DR.J.DHILIPAN HOD-MCA AND VICE PRINCIPAL-ADMIN

DR.J.DHILIPAN VICE PRINCIPAL ADMIN and HOD MCA presented the welcome address. During his address he welcomed the chief guest of today’s function and expressed his gratitude for accepting our invitation

 

He highlighted  the Importance of Visual inspection AI and its uses in production industries and gave a few sample application areas of Visual Inspection AI.

Mrs.R. Sivasankari, Research Scholar /MCA read the chief guest profile and introduced the guest to the audience

 

 Day 8 – Technical Session

Mrs. Anuyogam Venkataraman started the session with an introduction of importance of Visual Inspection AI and list out its few of the real time applications

 

Mrs. Anuyogam Venkataraman gave an real time demo of  Visual inspection AI to the participants to understand about what is Visual Inspection AI with an  Cookie example  and how its Quality is checked manually and how it can be done with the help of Visual Inspection AI.

 

Mrs. Anuyogam Venkataraman explained the architecture of the system to understand the working procedure and explained about the hardware components used in the actual working model and also explained about AI edge models where AI models are directly deployed directly on camera.

 

Mrs. Anuyogam Venkataraman clearly explained to the participants on how  to detect good and bad cookies using   Tensor flow Lite along with Raspberry pi.

 

She also showed  how to train a machine learning model step by step and also shared the python code used for this demo.

She concluded by mentioning different use cases of visual inspection including shopping use case, social safety use cases and other real time use cases which was very informative to the participants. As visuals are key factors, the camera selection is very important, so types and specifications of cameras needed to be used for visual inspection was discussed.

Then the entire session was opened to the audience for clarification of their doubts and interaction. The entire session was much useful for all the participants
