SRM Institute of Science & Technology (SRMIST), Ramapuram Campus, College of Management (MBA) organized “Investment Awareness Program” on 20.07.2021 for new joinees and present students of MBA. Ms. Rekha Ramanathan, BFSI Trainer was the Chief Guest. Mr. K. Prakash, Coordinator welcomed the gathering and explained how such programs can be utilized for shaping one’s future.
The chief guest in her talk explained how to mobilize and utilize finance for future, how to control finances, know yourself in maintaining the cash flow while investing in order to be strong in financial future. She also briefly explained that how to spend our income proportionately like mandatory expenses and income for emergency fund, etc. A brief explanation was given about mutual funds, inflation, and risk categories. She also explained with a chart the sectors of investments and its returns in future.
Participants raised various questions to the expert on capital mobilization for business and clarified their doubts on investments, corpus creation, investing in equity, etc.
