The inaugural function was conducted today in the august presence of Dr. R. Shivakumar Chairman, SRM Group of Institutions Ramapuram & Trichy Campuses. The Chief guests for the function is

Welcome address by Dr.C.Sundar -Principal (S&H)

Dr.C.Sundar -Principal (S&H) presented the Welcome address. During his address he cordially welcomed the Chief guests of todays function, invited dignitaries of SRMIST , IUKL and key note speakers.
He added that under the able guidance of our honorable chairman, out reach program was conducted during pandemic and have done lot of activities for the school students.
In addition, the institution has taken efforts to disseminate the highlights of National Educational Policy-NEP 2020.
He concluded his address by stating that the department of Computer Science and Applications have done a lot of programs for the dissemination of knowledge and skill enhancement and this particular conference is the need of the hour. He assured that with the able guidance of our chairman, the department will reach more mile stones.
About the Conference by Dr.J.Dhilipan – Vice Principal – Admin & HOD /MCA
Dr.J.Dhilipan – Vice Principal – Admin & HOD /MCA presented the details about the conference.
He added that education is all about creating an environment of academic freedom, where bright minds meet, discover and learn. One would experience top of the world living and learning experience at SRM. After the successful completion of the first edition of ECREMLACI in the year 2020, we are organizing this second edition of the conference.
The conference has been expanded to include interesting topics from across 4 pillars
- Machine Leaning/Artificial Intelligence /Deep Learning
- Distributed System and Cloud Computing
- Block Chain
- Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing
Which will detail the latest advancements in these domains worldwide:
We have received a total of 75 research articles and around 300 authors have given their contribution. Even after the last date for submission, we have received enquiries for submission of articles.

Felicitation address by Dr.N.Sethuraman- Chief Director, SRMIST

Dr.N.Sethuraman- Chief Director, SRMIST offered felicitations. During his address he said that the research essentials and the topics chosen is the need of the hour.
He explained how Machine Learning and Computational Intelligence are related to each other. Machine Learning and Computational Intelligence are useful for developing projects in medical industry.
He also highlighted how Computational Intelligence can create other issues what we face in ATM’s.
He concluded his address by stating that the researchers must take necessary steps to develop projects for farmers of the country. The Science and Humanities students have participated in more number of events and brought laurels to the institution.
Presidential address by Dr. R. Shivakumar Chairman- SRM Group of Institutions,

- Shivakumar Chairman- SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram and Trichy Campuses presented the presidential address. During his address, he expressed his gratitude for the invited guests from AICTE. He added that the University has been accredited with a grade of A++ by NAAC.
The University has excellent infrastructure facilities including multi storied buildings, modern laboratory facilities, internet facilities, library with e-learning, video sections and other general amenities.
We have launched a dedicated robotics lab where the students and research scholars have been doing their academic projects and research activities. We have introduced specialized courses under the faculty of Engineering and Technology with specializations
The College of Science and Humanities lends its help and support in organizing several events and activities in the campus. The Faculty members are devoted to the preparation of students to help them gracefully step into the job scenario.
The Department of Computer Science and Applications was started in the year 2007. The Department strives to provide quality education to the student community and aid in developing their skills, attitude and guide them towards a successful career path. With its highly qualified, dedicated and experienced faculty members, the department provides a suitable environment to develop pioneering talents and practice ethical values. It is also continually upgrading the technical proficiency for producing experienced professionals to gratify to the needs of society and to meet the global challenges. This success is attributed to the dedicated and responsible faculty members of the department who imparts quality education.
The Department of Computer Science and applications, right from its inception, has been active in research and innovation and has setup an ambient academic environment for its students and research scholars. With the commitment of highly qualified and efficient staff, the department endeavors vigorously to make a mark in the field of research and development.
After the successful completion of the first edition of Research Essential in Machine Learning and Computational Intelligence in the year 2020, the department is organizing this second edition of the conference.
He concluded his address by placing on records his deep appreciation in organizing the conference.
Special address by Shri. Buddha Chandrasekhar Chief Coordinating Officer, AICTE

Shri. Buddha Chandrasekhar Chief Coordinating Officer, AICTE started his address by congratulating the institutions in organizing this conference. He added that we use AI, ML technologies.
We use Google search and robotics driving decisions. Industry 4.0 is leading the world and we can use AI-ML technologies to predict the traffic in your route before starting the journey.
He added that they have used Deep Learning techniques to translate a book in English to 12 different languages. This project was done as per the expectations of our beloved Prime Minister.
He added about the highlight of NEP 2020 and with latest technologies we can solve many problems.
He concluded his address by stating that a around 275 billion dollars will be allotted for carrying out projects with AI-ML-DL techniques and for that all the capable students shall join together to strengthen our country.
Inaugural address by Dr. M. P. Poonia Vice Chairman, AICTE

Dr. M. P. Poonia Vice Chairman, AICTE started his address by stating that SRM has been contributing to the nation by producing quality professionals right from its day of inception and he placed on records his appreciation for the management for this.
In continuation he added that this excellent initiative taken by the institution to organize this international conference under joint venture. As per the directions from our honourable Prime Minister, nearly 300 trillion dollars will be invested for taking up new projects with the help of AI-ML-DL and we need capable students to complete this task. Every year 1 million graduants are produced by various institutions across the country.
He concluded his address by suggesting four strategies for completing the task and dream of our Prime Minister so that in the year 2047, our country will become a centre of excellence globally
- The Mission of the country to be clear for all. For this we can have 1:2:4:8 strategy(1 Ph.D Holder-2 M.Tech Graduates-4 B.Tech Students-8 Drop outs)
- Online education accountability- SRM should provide 100 teachers with various teaching pedagogies so that they become the role model for other teachers in the country
- Converting NEP interms of IETF-Institute Technology Educational Forum- SRM can become the nodal point and role model for others to follow.
- All emerging areas of AI-DS can be used to create a centre of excellence .
By these initiatives, by the year 2047 India will become a hub of technology and he also assured that AICTE will provide necessary help in carrying out these objectives.
Special address by President & Vice Chancellor, IUKL
Professor Dato’ Dr Noor Inayah binti Ya’akub

Professor Dato’ Dr Noor Inayah binti Ya’akub presented the special address. During her address she stated that this joint venture conference is the milestone in the history of both the institutions.
The theme of the conference was centered around the important pillars like
- Machine Leaning/Artificial Intelligence /Deep Learning
- Distributed System and Cloud Computing
- Block Chain
- Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing
She concluded her address by stating that the technology is growing in a rapid manner. Lots of technologies are evolving that will create lot of wonders in future.

Assoc. Prof. Ir. Mohd Nasir Hussin- Dean-Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology-Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL)- proposed vote thanks for the inaugural session.
He added that ECREMLACI has become the world-wide conference for the Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence field. To our pleasure several invited sessions has been organised, which opens the mind of the researchers beyond one’s own field by looking into complementary fields.
A Best Paper Award, will be awarded at the closing session of the conference.
He expressed his gratitude’s for the guest speakers ,all the dignitaries , program and awards committee, as well as to the invited chairs for their careful preparation of the invited sessions.
