The Programme Started with Official Welcome Speech by Prof K Murugan, Assistant Professor(Selection Grade), Coordinator, Department of Commerce. There were department presentation by Dr P Suseela, Incharge Shift II and The Guest Speaker Mr CA Solaiyappan Practicing Chartered Accountant  was introduced to Audience by Prof  K. Murugan, Assistant Professor (Selection Grade), Coordinator.

The guest highlighted to students about the importance of Chartered Accountancy not only deal with debit-credit of the accounts but they play a very important role at a big level in nation-building. CAs are foundation base of the economy and utilizing the financial expertise, the nation gets right direction in various financial, and economy related measures to enhance the decaying Indian economy and enhance the economy along with industrial growth. Chartered Accountant contributes to fields of Tax planning, capital budgeting, budget forecasting, financing or any other activity, preparation of books of accounts, and in every field as well. In the current scenario, after GST implementation, the role of Chartered Accountants has become very important. From the drafting rules to provisions to implementation of GST, the role and expertise of CAs were utilized to the fullest.

Ms Ruth Gladys G, HR – Training Senior Associate, Talent Development, NTT DATA Services – DLF, Shared her experience with freshers stating the importance of personality and how SRM IST Ramapuram campus shaped her to become as such.

Ms Spadika, MBA-Dubai, Shared her experience as well by telling how to become successful in the chosen career and also how SRM IST Ramapuram helped and groomed to become successful.Interaction were very actively engaged by freshers asking question directly with Guest Speaker, Around 145+ students took active and lively participation.

At the end of the programme a formal Vote of thanks proposed by Prof  K Easther Reeta, Assistant Professor. The Virtual Talk ended with Zeal and Enthusiasm among students by showing their interest and looking forward to join future programs over whelming.
