Webinar on “The Real World Marketing”
Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) organized a Webinar for I B.Com AF on 12th October 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The programme started with introductory note by Ms. K. Janaki, Assistant Professor. Dr. V. Deepa, Head in charge, Department of Accounting & Finance enthusiastically welcomed the guest, faculty and students. The Guest was introduced to the gathering by Ms. K. Janaki. Resource person Mr. V. Bakkiyaraj, (Marketing), Seshasayee Paper & Board Ltd., Madurai enthusiastically delivered the speech towards “The Real World of Marketing”. He started the session with basic note like what is marketing, He gave a deep insight towards the types of marketing like mass marketing, PR marketing, evangelism marketing which is also known as WOM marketing, Ambush marketing as so on. He quoted various examples for each type of marketing, and engaged the students with his vast experience. Students also enthusiastically participated in the program and clarified their doubts towards marketing in the real world. Nearly 100 students participated in the webinar. Finally, vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. R. Aarthi Alamelu Assistant Professor. The session ended with lot of knowledge sharing and learning’s.
