To conduct webinar for letting the students understand the usage of “Internet of things uses in agriculture
The Journal Club coordinator Mrs.P.Ponveni, Assistant Professor/B.Sc(cs), welcomed the gathering and addressed the chief guest.
Chief guest introduction was given by SaiSreeRaam, Student Coordinator of Journal Club.
The speaker briefed about what is IOT and its uses in today’s world.
He came up with multiple videos to explain each component in IOT devices and how it is used.
He also explained about the IOT solution components like
- Lora
- Wifi
- Bluetooth
- Zigbee
He gave small introduction about Raspberry PI and its advantages.
He spoke about the latest statistics about IOT customer responses and people’s anticipation about those devices.
At last he spoke about existing IOT in Agriculture projects carried out by corporates like Infosys etc.
