It was aimed to promote interaction between academy and industry, leading to innovation in both fields and providing unique opportunities to discuss the latest ideas, problems, and methodologies, and contributing to the advancement of science and technology to benefit the society

Inaugural Function

Date: 29th October 2021 | Time: 09.30 AM

Chief Guest: Prof. Daniel Breaz

Rector of “December the 1st  1918” University from Alba Iulia,

Senator of Alba county, Member of the Media and Culture Commission

 of the Romanian Senate,

Minister of Culture and National Identity, Romania.

The conference commenced on 29th October at 9.30 A.M with the inaugural function by invocation and lighting of the lamp. Dr.Shakeela Sathish, Head of the Department and Convener of the conference, welcomed the gathering and briefed about the conference.

Dean (E&T) in his felicitation address said that the use of Mathematical techniques gives a competitive advantage to the industry by suggesting innovative interdisciplinary approaches.  He congratulated the Department of Mathematics for organizing such knowledge-sharing sessions.

Prof. Daniel Breaz during his inaugural address expressed that knowledge has become the main wealth of nations, companies, and people. Hence, investing in research, innovation, and education is now the key leverage for competitiveness and prosperity. At the heart and foundation of this challenge, mathematics plays a crucial role as it provides a logically coherent framework to industry and a universal language for the analysis, simulation, optimization, and control of industrial processes.

Director,  Ramapuram campus in his presidential address explicitly interpreted the cultural, historical similarities between India and Romania. He expressed that, researchers in academia and industry must adapt their mentalities to the different mathematical and scientific domains they interact with, and disseminate best practices.

The respectable Chairman of Ramapuram and Trichy campuses has honored the conference by releasing the
