SRM Institute of Science & Technology (SRMIST), Ramapuram Campus, College of Management (MBA) organized a workshop on “Trading at NSE” on 29.10.2021. Mr. Himanshu Srivastava, Manager, National Stock Exchange Ltd., was the Chief Guest. Dr. R. Arulmoli, HOD/MBA welcomed the gathering and explained how such programs are important for the students of Management.
The chief guest in his talk explained the nature of stock markets and the need for smart investing. He briefly explained about various asset clauses and the preparation required before entering stock markets. He also narrated on the major players in stock market and the risk return relationships. He briefed about demat accounts and explained the tricks and tips through live trading demo. He advised the students to take up courses related to stock markets.
Participants raised various questions to the expert on capital markets and trading activities and clarified their doubts on investments, RoI, investing in equity, etc.
