REPORT- A TWO DAY WORKSHOP ON ‘New Literatures’
The Department of English and other Foreign Languages, College of Science and Humanities, SRMIST – Ramapuram, organized an online workshop on ‘New Literatures’ for B.A English students & Research Scholars on 12th and 13th November 2021. On Day 1 the Resource person Dr. S. Samuel Rufus from Madras Christian College explained the major Concept of Post colonialism and also deliberated on Postcolonial Aura in Canadian Literature. Day 2 the Resource person Dr. Maria Preethi Srinivasan from Queen Mary’s College enlightened the audience on the topic Post colonial Aura in the Australian Literature and she talked about the Proud of Australian Women with few Example poems. On both days the students found the sessions enjoyable and informative. The attendees registered positive feedback.
