“Incredible Payment for Incredible Journey”
The Department of Commerce conducted a one day webinar on virtual mode titled “Plastic and E-Wallet” for teaching fraternity and for college students. The Resource person, Ms.M.Ranjani spoke on the Importance of Payment modes through Credit Card, Debit Card, Smart Cards, Transactions in the e-commerce world such as Google Pay, PayTM, Amazon Pay. It was an eye opener session in connection to the frauds, phishing, cloning the cards, electronic pick pocketing, credit card scammers and phone scammers. The online session was attended by around 120 participants/students. The presentation was followed by a Q & A session. The webinar was well-coordinated by the faculty members Dr.G.Uma Maheswari and Dr.M.Jayashree.
