WEBINAR ON SUSTAINABILITY IN FASHION

The Department of Fashion Designing organized a one-day webinar on 20/12/2021 titled “SUSTAINABILITY IN FASHION” for I and II B. Sc., Fashion Designing students. The Resource person, Dr.D.Vasanth kumar, Assistant Professor (senior grade), Department of Fashion technology (VIFT), VIT, Chennai discussed on reducing wastage in textile and fashion industry, what are the impacts of textile and apparel industry and the brands like H&M and Brilla that produces clothing by recycling old clothes. The presentation was followed by an Interactive session. The webinar event was well-coordinated by the faculty member Ms Oviya yuvashree U.
