MEDIA SKILL LECTURE ON “CREATIVE AD DESIGN”
The Department of Visual Communication organized media skill lecture on “Creative Ad Design” on February 16,2022 by Mr.U.Yogesh, Multimedia Specialist, Research & Development, Chennai. Our Head of the Department Mr.S.Parthasarathy presented the welcome address. The session started with the presentation by the guest speaker.He explained how graphic design combines art and technology to communicate ideas, working with a variety of communication tools to convey a message. Within advertising, graphic designers use information such as the needs of the client, intended message portrayed by design, and appeal to customers or users before creating a new design. He explained students about creating a layout for car advertisement using software. He also discussed about the career opportunities available in the industry with visual representations and examples. The session ended with interaction by the students and also they expressed their interest in learning the subject. The event was organized by Ms.P.Yuvarani, Asst Professor, Dept.of Visual Communication,SRM IST,Ramapuram Campus.
