FASHION ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP
The Department of Fashion Designing conducted a three-days Fashion Illustration workshop on 03/02/2022 to 05/02/2022 for the I and II B. Sc., Fashion Designing students. The Resource person, T.Suresh , Senior Technical Associate in Department of Fashion Designing, NIFT – TEA Knitwear Fashion Institute thought how to design a garment using different colour mediums, shading techniques for a real garment view and Different Illustration using Men, Women and Children croquis. Students were participated eagerly. The online workshop was attended by around 70 students.

DAY 1: T.Suresh had given an Introduction on Illustration and garment designing, he thought the students about shading techniques using different mediums and how to illustrate a garment design. Types of paper can be used for illustrations were discussed. Assignments were given to students and doubts are cleared at the end of the session.
DAY 2: Revised previous day topic and assignments was corrected in front of students. Next he thought about designing a garment using poster colours. Brush techniques were discussed and textures of garment was thought and assignments were given to students after the session.
DAY 3: Revised previous day topic and assignments was corrected in front of students. He explained how to convert the stick figure into flesh figure using different head theory for male, female and children. And he thought how to illustrate the croquis and to colour using brush pens.
