SCHOOL BRAND BUILDING ACTIVITY – DRAWING AND PAINTING COMPETITION

 Department of Visual Communication, SRM Institute of science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, Chennai organized a wonderful Drawing and Painting competition in Government Girls High School, Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai on Wednesday 23rd February 2022.

A notice and a poster from the table of the headmistress was circulated in this regard in order to notify and enlist the names of the participating students from the various classes. A total of two groups (Drawing  and painting separately) were formed with around 90 students and each group was provided with a specific theme to draw, color and paint. For Drawing “Women in Worldwide” and for painting “Clean India” was the theme provided for all the students.

Students from class X and XI std participated in the competition. The program started at around 01.00pm in the afternoon and finished off by 04.30pm. The final result was declared by 04.00pm by our Drawing faculty Mr.D.Saravanan acted as the judge and three winners were selected from each group and distributed certificates and prizes among the winners! Thus, after such an eventful day, the program came to an end with a short speech by the headmistress of the school. The event was organised and coordinated by Mr.B.Senthil Kumar and Mr.D.Saravanan, Assistant Professor, Department of Visual Communication, SRMIST, Ramapuram, Chenani-89.
