?Today, the Department of Computer Science and Applications organized the 3rd Edition of AWARDS for Achievers.

? Dr J.Dhilipan presented the welcome address and he welcomed the chief guest and guest of honor for their valuable presence.
?He also welcomed the achievers and Principals receiving their awards today
?He concluded his address by stating about the initiatives taken by the department in organizing functions like this to appreciate the efforts taken by the students in their Higher secondary education.
?He added that the department has planned to conduct 12 weeks online certification programs.

?During his address he congratulated the organizers for taking initiatives to conduct the event which is the Need of the hour.

?Dr C Sundar, Principal offered felicitations. During his address he emphasized that the students are pillars of our next generation.
?He explained about the growth of SRM University.
?He added that around 8 Lakh students are competing their +2 exams and only 0.5 percentage of students are receiving the awards.
?He explained the story behind the initiatives taken for organizing Awards for Achievers function every year.
?He congratulated the students and the principals for making the the students to become achievers.
?He added about why the teaching profession is a noble service.

INAUGURAL ADDRESS

⚛️Dr.N.Vijayan,
Founder, Chairman & Senior Principal of Zion Group of Schools and Alwin Group of Schools ( CBSE), Chennai presented the Inaugural Address.
⚛️He added that Schools are Temples and Teachers are God of that learning temple. He emphasized about how the organizers have taken initiatives to appreciate the achievers.
⚛️He concluded his address by stating that after pandemic and two years of online classes, students have come to school and now they are very weak in their Foundations. Almost 40% of students are God fearing.
⚛️To eradicate this, we have started giving counseling to students and motivating them.
⚛️He concluded his address by advising the students to study the subjects with clear understanding and not to forget the teachers who have been taking classes for 14 years from LKG to 12th Standard

Founder President, Retd. HM’s Association, Chennai, presented the special address. During his address he congratulated the students achievers for their wonderful performance during higher secondary education
?He added that nowadays students have become addicted to gadgets and the same should be avoided by means of regular studies
?He concluded his address by advising the students that
?NO pain, No gain
?Students should study for 1 hour in the early morning which is equivalent to 3 hours of study in the evening.
DISTRIBUTION OF AWARDS FOR ACHIEVERS

?The achievers awards were presented to the students by means certificate of appreciation and a shield.
?149 students from 29 schools received the awards

⚛️ As a token of appreciation for the excellent services taken by the principals, best principal awards were presented for 13 principals
?Mrs.D.Kanchana, Assistant Professor MCA, coordinator of the program presented the vote of thanks.
?We express our gratitude to our Chairman sir, Co Chairman sir for their valuable encouragement, without which it would have been a distant dream for us to organize events like this.
?We also thank all our senior administrators for their constant support and guidance for achieving our goals.
