TWO DAY VIRTUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

A Two day International Conference on “paradigm shift in business and economy: challenges, initiatives, and strategies in global context” was organized by Commerce Department, SRM Institute of Science &Technology, College of Science & Humanities, at Ramapuram Campus, Chennai, India, in collaboration with Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).The first day of the conference started with an inaugural session with a welcome note by Dr.A. Jayabal, Professor &Head, Department of Commerce, SRMIST, Ramapuram, This was followed by the felicitation address by Dr.B.Venkatachalapathy, Dean (Research) SRMIST, Ramapuram campus. He welcomed all the delegates contributing to this Conference from different corners of the globe and briefed them about the objectives of the conference and the vision of the research topic, which is the need of the Society.
The inaugural address was given by Dr. C. Sundar Dean (S&H), SRMIST, Ramapuram campus. He took a message story from Management –the 4 versions of Rabbit & Turtle and explained the importance of, ‘Team Work’ by identifying individual core competency and to adopt for achieving success.
Followed by the Special Address by Dr.V. Subbiah Bharathi, Director, SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram Campus who shared his view about digital marketing, challenges, and threats. He insisted that today’s youth should inculcate creative ideas and aim to become entrepreneurs .The inauguration was followed by the Presidential Address by Dr.N. Sethuraman, chief director , He highlights about the Shift in all dimensions like employee-oriented towards performance-oriented, education from teacher orientation towards student orientation.. He concluded by saying that the insights, ideas, and recommendations should reach Government and business agencies. The Conference Souvenir was released by all the dignitaries on the dice. The program was followed by Guest of honor of Dr. Araby Madbouly Associate Professor & Head Department of Business & Accounting, Muscat College, Sultanate of Oman.. He deliver his keynote address about‘FDI to be a Key Player in all Business Networks and its applications. The program was end with chief quest address byMr.irwan Md Lahuri,Head of Head of International Finance Operations Dragon Oil Holding Ltd. (Subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.he explained about Vuca and recent technology updating in oil and natural gas industry.the first day inguaral functionwasended by vote of thanks delivered by Dr.j.sabitha conference convenor.
The technical sessions were followed by the inaugural session in virtual mode. The Conference Theme played around the following four research areas: Banking & Finance, Marketing, Information& communication technology,Human Resource Management &Entrepreneurial Development. three parallel tracks were held in which a total of 70 papers were presented.Each session had a Chair and Co-chair, who were experts in their domain. Each author was given 10 minutes for the paper presentation, which was followed by a question and answer session for 5 minutes. The conference was structured to foster discussion between participants.
DAY 2 CONFENCE IS start with Technical Session 4 at 9,30 am in which a total of 30 papers were presented. Each session had a Chair and Co-chair, who were experts in their domain. Each author was given 10 minutes for the paper presentation, followed by technical session, valedictory of the conference started at 12.00 Noon. Dr.Lakshmi , conference co-convenor delivered the welcome address. Felicitation addressed by Mr.V.Krishnamurthy , founder and MD Hrudyaa AdConSer Pvt Ltd. Followed valedictory address by Dr. Mohd Raziff Jmaluddin , University Technology MARA Selangur , Malaysia . He highlighted about paradigm shift in Business and Economy. The two day conference concluded by vote thanks delivered by Dr.S.Chandramouli , Conference Convener.
