EVENT REPORT
The Department of EFL, SRMIST Ramapuram organized a Student Outreach Program – Webinar for French language aspirants on 28 May 2022 for Hr. Sec, Diploma and UG students. The resource person, Dr. Adeline G. Albert, Associate Professor & Head, Dept. of French, Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai delivered an enlightening presentation on “Les Français et Le 9ème Art”. She took the attendees through a mesmerizing and memorable journey of the world of French comics with interesting excerpts from classics like Tintin and Asterix and Obelix to the contemporary comics. She gave an overview of how French can be learned in a fun and effective way from the pictures and dialogues, and answered the students’ queries with excellent anecdotes from her own rich experience.
