The Department of English organized a three day Online Workshop on Metalanguage Study on English and French language from 06-07-2022 (Wednesday) to 8-07-2022(Friday).
On Day 1 – 06-7-2022, Dr.N.Sumathi Assistant Professor presented the session on Kindle creativity through English. The session highlighted upon improving vocabulary skills & simple poetry writing.
On Day 2 – 07-07-2022, Mrs.Mahalakhmi, Assistant Professor, elucidated on the topic of Culture of France & Basic French conversations and it was an interactive session where students were given tasks to perform.
On Day 3 – 08-07-2022, Dr.B.Sridevi, Assistant Professor, gave a vivid explanation on the topic Enhancing the writing skills through creativity. Activities like meme creation, creative letter writing were given for students.
Around 15 participants attended the workshop. All the sessions were thoughtful and effective for the students and it was useful to improve their language skills.
