GUEST LECTURE HANDS-ON MONGODB

The Department of Computer Science have organized Guest Lecture on Hands-on MongoDB

for Second year B.Sc (CS) on  23-09-2022.  Dr. Surya Susan Thomas presented the welcome address. She also welcomed and introduced the Guest speaker of the session to the Staff and Students. She insisted the students to make use of the guest lecture and asked the students to be active throughout the interactive session as it is an important topic in their syllabus. Dr Nismon started the session with the basic introduction of MongoDB and its uses .He illustrated how to download MongoDB in the laptop/PC. He explained clearly the fundamental concepts of MongoDB , MySQL ,RDBMS and the difference between MongoDB and MySQL and  gave an elaborate Hands-On  Session on MongoDB with suitable examples . Finally, we had an interactive doubt session. The entire session was very useful and informative to everyone. Total Participants: 45.  The Vote of thanks thanks proposed by Dr.Surya Susan Thomas .
