(Presenting Awards to the Toppers of 12th Std Students)

The Department of Computer Science and Applications with Association of High & Higher Secondary Schools’ Retired Headmasters (Chennai District) organized ACHIEVER’S AWARD 2023 to Present awards to the toppers to 12th standard students on 07.01.2023 in TRP AUDITORIUM.

Guest of Honor : Dr. V. Padmavathy, Correspondent, IT International Matriculation Higher Secondary School & State Vice President, Tamil Nadu Nursery & Primary Matriculation School, CBSE School Association.
The Welcome Address was given by Major. Dr. M. Venkatramanan. He presented the welcome address and welcomed the chief guest and Guest of Honor for their valuable presence. He also welcomed Students and Teachers from Various Schools those were receiving the awards and congratulated them. He proudly stated that every year SRM Ramapuram Campus organizes awarding ceremonies to encourage the students and their teachers. Insight on Achiever’s Award 2023 – Dr.J.Dhilipan(Vp-Admin). He stated that the awards are presented to individuals who have showed excellence in academic , to encourage them. He also mentioned that the Principals are also recognized for their academic achievements. The Principal’s and student’s efforts are acknowledged to encourage them to achieve more throughout their school life. Brightful Assets in Academics was enlightened by Dr. V. Saravanan, Vice Principal (Academic). He quoted that in this world where the technology is rapidly growing it is necessary to stay on track to learn new things swiftly. Also he proudly stated that the academics in SRM are equipped in such a way that it would definitely help the students to stay on track without any hinderance and the students are given ample time to experiment and upskill themselves during laboratory hours without any lack. He concluded by congratulating the Principals and the students. Dr. N. Sethuraman Chief Director , SRM Group of Institutions (Ramapuram & Trichy) presented momento to Dr . R. Arthanari, Founder President, Retired. Headmasters Association. Dr. V. Padmavathy Correspondent, IT International Matriculation Higher Secondary School & State Vice Precident, Tamil Nadu Nursery & Primary Matriculation School, CBSE School Association. Dr. F. Keynote speaker Dr. R. Arthanari Founder President, Retired. Headmasters Association congratulated the teachers and students for their achievements reached through hard work. He encouraged the teachers to be a guiding light to students and to be a contributor for the betterment of students society Before handing over the session to the Chief Director, he once again congratulated the students and their Principals and Teachers for their work.
Presidential address was given by Dr. N. Sethuraman Chief Director , SRM Group of Institutions (Ramapuram & Trichy).He welcomed the chief guests , VP Academic, VP Admin, the Principals and students . He stated that the objectives of the Achiever’s Award 2023 are to encourage and honour the students for their hard work.He also said that this is to strengthen the educational system by giving the Principals, Teachers and students the opportunity to enhance their academic excellence.He also said that it should be noted that this awarding ceremony is to encourage, motivate, and kindle the interests of the student’s peers to improve and enhance their skills.With great assurance he mentioned that SRM Science and Humanities will continue to host such awarding events to encourage the Principals, Teachers and students.
Take away: When you have the drive to learn you will be on your toes to keep on learning . Do not underestimate others and yourself, everyone has a skill and it is that individuals responsibility to nurture and grow it. He concluded by wishing the Principals, teachers and students all the best for their future endeavors. Dr. N. Vijayalakshmi, Assistant Professor– introduced Dr. V. Padmavathy Correspondant, IT International Matriculation Higher Secondary School & State Vice President, Tamil Nadu Nursery & Primary Matriculation School, CBSE School Association. Guest of Honour Speech was delivered by Dr. V. Padmavathy Correspondent, IT International Matriculation Higher Secondary School & State Vice Precident, Tamil Nadu Nursery & Primary Matriculation School, CBSE School Association. She thanked the management for this opportunity. She also Appreciated the students and Principals who are receiving the award. She mentioned that there are two things that are driving force for a student they are DREAM AND DESIRE she encouraged the students to desire and to reach greater heights to dream of what they desire to reach.She encouraged the students to make it a point to always think of their dream and desire first in the morning. She finished by thanking the management and expressed the interest to talk with the students when another opportunity arises.
Mrs. D. Kanchana –Assistant Professor introduced Dr. F. Joseph Senior Principal, St Antony’s Matric Higher Secondary School & Secretary – Chengalppatu District, Tamil Nadu Nursery & Primary, Matriculation Higher Secondary School, CBSE Association. Inaugural Address was addressed by Dr. F. Joseph Senior Principal, St Antony’s Matric Higher Sec School & Secretary – Chengalppatu District, Tamil Nadu Nursery & Primary, Matriculation Higher Secondary School, CBSE Association. He quoted the phrase “SRM- A place for Transformation”. He mentioned that Transformation is a permanent and complete change in a human being and stated that it is a powerful word.He also extended his hope that the students will graduate as a transformed person. He strongly mentioned that it is a necessity to eliminate fear, hesitation, carelessness and laziness from ones life.He also mentioned that it is an utmost necessity to hold onto one’s moral values without giving into peer pressure when the student graduates school and enters the college.He highlighted that “Every one is Born to Achieve”The teachers guide the students but it is that individual student’s effort that help them achieve their goal. Before closing his statement he reminded the students to always remember the pains and sacrifice their parents go through for them and to be grateful for them in their lives.He finished with Congratulating the students and the teachers.
Finally, the Vote of Thanks was proposed Dr. Meenakshi, Assistant Professor Department of MCA. She thanked Each and Everyone who worked for this Mega Event to explore as a grand Success.
