SHORT FILM SCREENING AND DISCUSSION

The Department of Visual Communication organized RECTANGLE – A Viscom film club activity the short film screening of department Alumni students of 2017,18& 19 batch on Jan 12,2023. The cast and crew members of the short films named “Karam”-Mr.Syed,Mr.Rajathaaban,Mr.Kavin[2017], “Lucid”- Mr.Rambabu, Mr.Sanjay[2018], “Oru Nalil”- Mr.Purushothaman[2018] and ,”Padminiyum Pattampoochiyum”- Mr.Naresh, Mr.Ganesh,Mr.Surya,Mr.Madhavan,Mr.Vetri and Mr.Madhavan assembled for the session. The welcome address was delivered by Dr.V.Prabakaran, HOD/Viscom. All the 4 films were screened and followed by interaction with the students. Students asked questions related to the location hunt, cinematography styles, editing nuances and color correction techniques. The senior students answered all their questions and shared their experiences & challenges faced during the production process.The session was very interactive and the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. P.Yuvarani, Rectangle Club Coordinator, Visual Communication.
