One Day Photography Workshop for +2 students | 21.01.2023 |
The Department of Visual Communication, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram is organized a one-day Photography Workshop’ for +2 students in and around Chennai as part of brand building activity targeting upcoming admissions 2023-24. The workshop held on 21.01.2023 at viewing theatre, 6th floor, PG Dental Block, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, ramapuram campus.
More than 42 students from different schools around Chennai have registered and overall, 35 students have attended the workshop. The session is started with a welcome speech by Dr.V.Prabakaran H.O.D/ VISCOM and continued by a PPT presentation on Introduction to Visual Communication by II Year student Mr. Mukul.
The workshop started with a PPT. presentaion about Basic Photography. The camera is set to live and quick preview on TV Display for seeing immediate photo result. Students started to practice product shoot with the guidance of Mr. M.Diwakar – Assistant Professor. Also, they practiced how to control low shutter speed for light drawing photography. As a final session a quiz programme is been organized on basic photography. Participation Certificates were distributed to all the students. After the workshop students had a department tour. All the students were happy with the workshop and infrastructure of the department. Students immensely benefited by the workshop.
