“CSR -Sustainability, Accountability and Transparency”

The Department of Commerce (Shift I) organised a one day webinar on “CSR DAY 18^th February 2023 on titled “CSR -Sustainability, Accountability and Transparency” for UG & PG students. The Resource person, Dr.Mahesh Kumar T, Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator, School of Commerce Finance and Accountancy, CHIRST Deemed to be University ,Pune Lavasa Campus spoke on proactively implementing CSR activities through the various working groups in an organisation and it causes of reduce in turnover ,increase productivity , revenue and employee engagement. He also spoke on the present scenario of CSR in India and list of socially responsible companies that are strongly committed to Corporate Social Responsibility. The online session was attended by around 104 participants .He interacted and clarified the doubts of the Students. The prize was declared for poster presentation competition was conducted on 17^th February 2023 .The webinar was well coordinated by the faculty members Dr.K.Punitha and Dr.V.Vijayalakshmi.
