The Department of Commerce conducted a Inaugural Function Of Students Association “Flaming Falcons”
for all the students of Commerce department – Shift 1. The special invitee was chief guest Mr. C. A. Gokulakrishnan, GGSH and Co LLP, Chennai and he did a proud badge ceremony for the executive members and office bearers. The session was attended by the students of commerce shift 1. Then the chief guest addressed the gathering by presenting the overview of current year budget. The presentation was followed by a Q & A session. The function was well-coordinated by the faculty members Mrs. Karthigai Selvi and Dr. Kabirdoss Devi and Dr. J. Sabitha.

The Inaugural ceremony was started up with a musical performance byMs. Hemamalini and Mr.PeethambarSuresh the Students of B.com IIIrd year
The occasion started withThamizthai vazhthu sung by Ms.Hemamalini and Ms. Kavi Priya of B.com IIIrdyear.
A wonderful welcome address by Mr.Rahul of
M.com Istyear.
The logo of the students association-“FLAMING FALCONS” was revealed by our beloved dean sir, respected chief guest, vice principal (academics) and head of the department (Commerce).
The event was followed by a speech which was overthrown by our Dean- Major. Dr. M. Venkataramanan, who is well known for his wonderful administration and high achievements of the institution and someone who is in charge of a dynamic leader who runs the institution successfully.
The occasion was carried on with providing badges to concerned Badge Holders by our honorable Chief Guest.
The Badges were awarded to the office bearers, executive committee, club heads of the students’ association – FLAMING FALCONS, the class representatives and student coordinator’s.
Then the event got directed to our honorable chief guest Mr. C. A. Gokulakrishnan, GGSH and Co LLP, Chennai.
He completed his under graduation in UNIVERSITY OF MADRAS and completed his charted accounts in THE INSTITUTE OF CHARTED ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA.
He has collaborated with Advanced IFRS Implementation by KPMG,Advanced IFRS Implementation by KPMG and he is also a Certified Zoho Creator Developer.
He started his career as an audit intern in B P RAO & CO and held various positions in different MNC’s and is currently the FOUNDER of GGSH & CO LLP, CHARTED ACCOUNTANTS.
He believe that the right business strategies, financial modeling, and tech-based business processes are the ‘food, clothing, and shelter’ of a business to scale. His passion for business strategies, process re-engineering using technology, and building financial models fueled this goal further.
Collectively he also directed to the post union budget of FY:23-24 and showcased the importance of household budgeting.
He also suggested that we start by budgeting our household expenses which helps us to improve our basic understanding on the financial position of our income and expenses.
The program was concluded with Vote of Thanks in honoring the chief guest by expressing gratitude by the Secretary of the Students Association Mr.Anirudh of B.Com IInd year.
The event ended with everyone honoring the National Anthem.
