The Department of Commerce conducted a seminar on 23 February 2023 titled “International Investment: The Importance of Educating The Students on The Benefits of Internationaal Investment” undergone exclusively for I B.Com and I M.Com students from Department of Commerce, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram. More than 86 students participated.

The Event was invocated by the Convenor, Dr.T.S.Bhuvaneswari, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, followed by the Welcome address by Ms.Narmadha I M.Com and a short Introduction about the Technical Expert by Ms.Jayarani, I B.Com B, Department of Commerce. Dr.P.Fathima Nancy Dyana, Commerce Expert emphasised about International Investment, importance and its benefits. She encouraged the participants to give special focus on various sources and types of international investments. She listed the various steps in investments and highlighted the action plan in investment. Really it was a detailed description of the different strategies which definitely benefit to improve the knowledge of the students about various investments schemes. Finally the vote of thanks was propounded by Ms.Mahalakshmi, I B.Com B, Department of Commerce.
