The Department of Commerce conducted A Webinar serieson “GST IN INDIA AND ITS IMPACT ON NATIONAL ECONOMY” Students. The Resource Person Mr. KRISHNA MOORTHY VENKATRAMAN co-Founder and Managing Director Hrudyaa Private Limited spoke on the above topic. The key points covered was ‘what is direct tax and indirect tax, journey of GST, Components of GST, Tax laws before GST, Features of GST’ can be shared with the government were discussed in the webinar. The online session was attended by around 106 students. The Presentation was followed by Q & A session. The webinar was well coordinated by the faculty members Dr.S.Lakshmi and Dr.R.Vijayalakshmi.
