The Department of Commerce conducted a Two day International Conference on titled “MASK – Mobilizing Advanced Strategic Knowledge in Commerce, Engineering & Management” for Research Scholar, teaching fraternity /for College UG & PG students
International Conference on MASK has been designed to create a Platform for Researchers across the Globe to showcase their Research Potentials through their Research Work.
The Conference has been paved a way for the Academicians, Industrialists, Research Scholars and Students to submit their innovative ideas on the themes of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Entrepreneurship and Information Technology
We have received 300+ Research Papers from across the Globe. To brief we have received 40+ research papers from Ethipia, Dubai, Singapore, Malyasia, Australia, Srilanka, South Africa and United States of America. 150+ Papers from various parts of India and 130+ papers from Tanilnadu which includes our faculty and students Research Work
This Conference has a Reviewer Team which has guided us to organize in a structured and focused manner.

The conference MASK – received 228 papers internationally from United States of America, Africa, UK, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka and from all the reputed universities and colleges from India.
The conference started with a formal inaugural function having chief guest and guests of honour both domestically and internationally. The function started with prayer and warm welcome address delivered by Dr. Chitra. Maj. Dr. M. Venkatramanan felicitated the event following which Dr. Subhaiah Bharathi, Director SRM Group of Institution Ramapuram and Trichy campuses gave away special address. The Chief guest Mr.Nandakumar, IRS Commissioner of Income of tax brought out the salient features of research and motivated students on how to achieve and mould themselves in the current scenario. Dr. Panchanadham, Former Vice Chancellor TNE University Chennai appreciated the theme and made an eye opening session on the importance of research as a career to the students. Dr. Sowmya, Professor Debridehar University, East Africa gave the opportunities available abroad for the students of commerce. The inaugural ceremony ended with formal vote of gratitude by Mr. Bala Krishnan, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, SRMIST.
Following the inaugural session, paper presentation started having faculty, research scholars, and students under various streams. The in person presentation for –
Track 1- Banking and Finance coordinated by Dr. Maheshwari and Dr. Sahila had 9 participants in person and 128 online.
In offline – the best presenter award was received by Ms. Jebasty Sharon Winslet of WCC and the best paper award was received by Ms. N. Sugabradhayini and Dr. M. Rekha of SDNB Vaishnav College of women, chrompet.
Track 2 –Marketing and Advertising co-ordinated by Dr. S. Vijayalaskshmi and Ms. N. Bhuvaneswari had 16 offline participants and 42 online.
In offline – the best presenter award was received by Ms. Jayshree BharathiT and Ms. Manushree of MOP Vaishnav College of Women and the best paper award was received by Mr. T. Hari of SRMIST Ramapuram.
Track 3 –Human Resource and Entrepreneurship co-ordinated by Dr. Punitha and Dr. Lakshmi had 23 offline participants and 40 online.
In offline – the best presenter award was received byS. Sakthi, Research scholar, SRM IST –KTR and the best paper award was received Ms. MAnitha Research Scholar Avinashalingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for women.
