Outreach Programme
SRM Institute of Science and Technology Ramapuram Campus, College of Science and Humanities, Department of Computer Science and Applications (B.Sc CS), organized an Outreach Programme in association with National Social Service (NSS) at Sathyameh Jayam Charitable Trust on July 22, 2023, at 2:00 PM. NSS students and B.Sc CS students participated as social workers, along with NSS coordinators and faculty members. Under the guidance of Dr. V. Saravanan, Head of the Department of B.Sc CS and Vice Principal – Academic, the faculty members and student volunteers visited the trust and spent valuable time with the children and the needy. Mr. Arjunan, the founder of Sathiyameh Jayam, expressed gratitude to the participants for their contribution and support. He shared the experiences and services rendered by the trust. During the visit, the students and faculty members contributed notebooks, stationery items, and snacks to the children at Sathiyameh Jayam. The children were happy and interacted with the students, sharing their experiences. The team expressed the desire to continue their service in the future as well.
