CHOOSING CAREER PATH AFTER 12TH

The Department of Commerce conducted a Brand Building Events from 22^nd september 2023 “CHOOSING CAREER PATH AFTER 12^TH” undergone exclusively for Higher secondary Students from various schools from various cities. More than 50 students were participated from various schools such as D.A.V Mat Hr Sec School, Sudharshanam Vidyashram, San Academey, St. Mary’s School, St John’s School, Vijayanta Senior Secondary School, Maharishi Vidhya Mandir, The PSBB Millennium School, Swami Vivekanandha Matric Hr Sec School, Vidyaa Vikas International School, Little Flower School, Govt Hr Sec School, Assisi Mat Hr Sec School.

Technical Expert: Mr.C.Prabhu, IBDP BUSINESS MANAGEMENT MENTOR, Central International School, Navalur, Chennai.

The event was invocated by the host, dr.j.salomi backia jothi, assistant professor, department of commerce(ism), followed by the welcome address and a short introduction about the technical expert by dr.j.lalitha, assistant professor, department of commerce(PA). Mr.c.prabhu, commerce expert emphasised selecting the right career path after completing your 12th grade is a crucial decision that sets the direction of your professional life. For students from the commerce stream, the options are manifold, spanning various sectors like financial services, banking, business, management, and more. He also insisted before entering the commerce field, the students be aware of the different courses after 12th commerce that are available to choose from. He concluded the webinar by giving various suggestions for. Building the required skill set will help to get their dream job.
