Department of Computer Science and Applications

The Department of Computer Science and Applications was established in the year 2007 with the introduction of MCA programme under the auspices of Faculty of Engineering and Technology with the intake of 60 students.
BCA programme was introduced in the year 2014 and B.Sc Computer Science was added in the year 2015 with the intake of 60 for each programme under the Faculty of Science and Humanities.
BCA-Data Science programme was introduced in the year 2021 with the intake of 60 students and hands-on support and training from the industry.
BSc-Computer Science (Specilization in Cyber Security) was introduced in the year 2023 with intake of 60 students.
The Department also offers PhD programme in Computer Science in Full Time and Part Time mode.
