FOCUS – AN EDUCATIONAL AWARENESS PROGRAM ( For I Year Viscom Students)
Department of Visual Communication organized an Introduction session to newly joined B.Sc Visual Communication students of 2021-22 batch on topic “FOCUS – AN EDUCATIONAL AWARENESS PROGRAM” on Tuesday 07th September 2021. Around 82 students registered and joined for the session. Mr.Parthasarathy, Head of the Department, Department of Visual Communication delivered the welcome address. The session was started by an introduction video of Dr.Dhamu, Project Director, Media Sciences who has started his career in film industry in various roles and later with the inspiration of Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam, Former President of India, Dr.Dhamu entered into the educational industry where he has given a lot of motivational speeches to many schools and colleges across Tamilnadu. He welcomed 2021-22 Batch Students of Visual Communication department SRMIST, Ramapuram and explained about the course, career opportunities etc. He also motivated the students to enhance their skillsets in next 3 years in college and enter into media field to get a job.
