Independence Day Special Program
The Department of Visual Communication at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, in association with NEWS18 Tamilnadu, organized an ‘Independence Day Special Program’ on August 11, 2023, in the Gallery Hall, 1st Floor, Block 5. The chief guest of the day was the esteemed Dr. J. RadhaKrishnan IAS, Additional Chief Secretary & Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation. The Chief Guest was welcomed by our institution’s dignitaries: Chief Director N. Sethuraman of SRMIST, Ramapuram Campus, Dean M. Venkataramanan (S&H), and Dr. V. Prabakaran, HOD of Visual Communication.
The chief guest, Dr. J. RadhaKrishnan IAS, addressed the gathering and engaged in an interesting and informative interactive session. He interacted in a friendly manner, answering all the questions and also providing tips to the students on choosing their studies, profession, and how to face the future, among many other things.
The event was hosted by Mr. Mubashir, VJ at NEWS18 Tamilnadu. The coordination of the event was overseen by Ms. P. S. Padmavathy, Assistant Professor, Department of Visual Communication.
