?Dr.J.Dhilipan presented the welcome address and he welcomed the chief guest of today’s session.
He stated the importance of Software testing and the Industry requirements. He requested the students to utilise the session for their campus placement drives.

The following points were discussed about the Automation and Testing,
⚜️Mrs. Tharani Sundaram , started the session with brief introduction about testing and its purpose.
⚜️She discussed about the Automation testing process.
⚜️More over the relevance of automation in testing was explained by the expert.
⚜️She elaborated the different testing tools available in the Industry.
⚜️She emphasised that students needs to develop strong analytical and logical thinking to become a tester.
⚜️She also specified that the Data Structures and Algorithm will play a vital role in the testing process.
⚜️Test Cases were executed to understand the industry scenario.
⚜️Detailed explanation was given about real case scenarios with some example.
⚜️Finally in the Q&A Session, Students asked their doubts related to testing job profile and skill set requirements in the industry.
