ONAM ARTWORK EXHIBIT

The Department of Visual Communication organized the Onam Artwork Exhibit by the first-year students, took place on 30^th Aug 2023 at 6^th floor, PG Dental Block. The event aimed to showcase the artistic talents of the students while celebrating the vibrant and culturally rich festival of Onam. A unique aspect of the exhibit was the fusion of traditional Onam elements with contemporary art styles. This fusion brought a fresh perspective to the age-old festival, attracting art enthusiasts from various backgrounds. Attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the essence of Onam through the art pieces on display. The exhibit beautifully captured the essence of the festival, showcasing the elaborate flower arrangements, the iconic “Pookalam,” and the festive attire worn during Onam celebrations. The Onam Artwork Exhibit received an overwhelming response from both students and faculty members. The colorful and captivating artworks left a lasting impression on the attendees, fostering an understanding and appreciation of Onam and its cultural significance.
