About Ramapuram Campus
The College of Science & Humanities of SRM University started functioning at Ramapuram Campus in the academic year 2014 -2015. It offers 18 academic courses in UG and PG programmes. Ramapuram campus situated within the city has won world-wide recognition and public acceptance. More than 4,000 students are pursuing their studies in the campus with more than 160 dedicated faculty members and equipped with excellent laboratories, teaching aids and a central library.
About the Department of Biotechnology
The Department of Biotechnology, College of Science and Humanities, SRMIST, Ramapuram campus started with a vision to impart spearhead research and educational programs in Biotechnology and Health Sciences. Since then, the department has encouraged the young, creative and innovative minds in the field of biotechnology leading to the significant contribution for the betterment of humankind. Research papers have been published in peer reviewed high impact factor international journals and papers presented in National and International conferences. The department hashigh-quality learning environment for the undergraduate students with an aim to empower Post graduate and Research programs in near future.
About the Conference
In this present decade biotechnology simply raises the capability to a new level of precision. Like earlier technologies, biotechnology promises to provide many advantages, especially in three broad categories: environmental protection, higher yields, and improvements in human health.
ICBESTis designed to promote insightful discussions at the hybrid (physical/virtual) conference that will feature a mix of invited speakers and participants drawn from various sub-fields of biotechnology. The conference is therefore purposely intended to cover every attribute of basic and applied aspect of biotechnology that creates technologies and products to improve our lives and nature. Given the excellent line up of invited speakers, this conference is a ‘must’ to attend for anyone interested in cutting edge research in the field of biotechnology.
Aim and Scope
The conference aims to provide a comprehensive and updated overview of the basic and applied aspects of Biotechnology. ICBEST-2022 provides a platform for eminent academic scientists, research students, industrialists, entrepreneurs,technology providers and business delegates, share insightsand provide an outlook on the emerging trends of Biotechnology.
Conference Proceedings
All the accepted abstracts will be published in conference proceedings. We also aim to select full papers related to Agricultural Biotechnology, Environmental Biotechnology, Animal Biotechnology and Nanobiotechnology to be published in conference proceedings.

The participants will be intimated about the acceptance of their abstracts through email on 15.12.2022. Authors submitting abstracts should mention in subject line "Submission for ICBEST-2022”
