DEPARTMENT OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION
PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS
The Department of Visual Communication organized the photography workshop at Maharishi Vidya Mandir CBSE School, Mangadu on 19th August 2023 in the school premises for 11th and 12th grade students. The workshop aimed to introduce students to the art of photography, enhance their creative skills, and provide hands-on experience. Students learned about the various components of a camera and their functions. Hands-on demonstrations enabled students to adjust camera settings confidently. An interactive exercise was given and it encouraged students to convey emotions through their images. Later the students participated in a guided outdoor photography session on the school premises. The interactive sessions, practical experience, and constructive feedback contributed to a successful learning experience for all participants. The event fostered creativity, enhanced technical skills, and opened doors for further exploration in the field of photography. The event was coordinated by Ms. Yuvarani, Assistant Professor and Mr. Diwakar Assistant Professor with Final year student volunteers.
