Self-defense for Girls (Women Empowerment)

SRMIST, Ramapuram Campus, Faculty of Management, Department of BBA Organized Women empowerment program on 24.8.2023 for the celebration of Women’s Equality Day (26.8.23).  Chief guest of the program Grand Master Shihan Dr. S. Raja MA., BL., 6th Dan Black Belt. International Coach & Referee, President-Thiruvalluvar District Karate Association and Master Dr. R.Sangeetha Raja M.A., MBA., MA (Yoga), DASC, PGDCA, PG Diploma in Karate National Referee & Coach SEPA Academy.

Master Priyanka taught few key techniques of self-defense for the girls to handle at different situations. 10 teams registered for the Poster making competition on Women Empowerment and presented their posters before the judges. The Girl students eagerly participated in the competition and volunteered themselves in learning self-defense techniques.
