DR.J.DHILIPAN VICE PRINCIPAL ADMIN and HOD MCA presented the welcome address. During his address he welcomed the chief guest of today’s function and expressed his gratitude for accepting our invitation
He concluded his address by stating that the topic chosen today will create research interests for all the participants. AI can support radiologist.
This is used to solve many issues in medical industry through AI and ML
Dr. P. Sudha, Assistant Professor/MCA read the chief guest profile and introduced the guest to the audience

Then he explained about role of AI in Medical Imaging
He then explained about chatbot used in medical industry
Publications in AI have been constantly increasing for the past few years
MRI and Tomography contribute to 50 % of the articles, he said
What is a digital image?
What is biomedical Imaging?
Need for image processing in medical industry
Types of medical images
Initial problems of improving quality of digital transformation of medical images
Ultra sound process in medical imaging
How return echos are recorded?
He then explained about
Basic CT SCAN set up
He then discussed about the following topics with relevant examples
CT scan image processing
PET scan images
He then explained about the application of AI principles in medical imaging
AI versus human intelligence
AI methods in medical imaging
Deep learning algorithms used in medical imaging
AI in health care
Clinical application areas of AI in oncology
He concluded his address by explaining about
Applications of AI in non radiological based areas
Example non smell cells lung cancer
Two classes of AI methods used today
AI challenges and issues in medical imaging
Then the entire session was opened to the audience for clarification of their doubts and interaction. The entire session was much useful for all the participants
