DR.J.DHILIPAN VICE PRINCIPAL ADMIN and HOD MCA presented the welcome address. During his address he welcomed the chief guest of todays function and expressed his gratitude for accepting our invitation
He concluded his address by stating that the topic chosen today will help the faculty members and research Scholars to carry out their research and application of cyber security principles .
This is used to solve many issues in client and server side to predict the possible breaches
Mrs.D.Kanchana, Assistant Professor/MCA read the chief guest profile and introduced the guest to the audience
Day 6 – Technical Session

Dr. A S N Chakravarthy started the session with an introduction of importance of cyber security
He then explained about most important cyber-crimes and their impact.

In addition he explained about finding the mobile phone in Google and my Google activity
He continued to explain about the following concepts with examples
Real time attack trackers
Checking the security of a website
Cyber Security principles
Safety Measures to be taken while downloading software’s and applications
How to manage your passwords effectively
Multifactor authentication
Deploying honey pots to provide security
Research focus areas in cyber security
Splunk software usage-Splunk is software mainly used for searching, monitoring, and examining machine-generated Big Data through a web-style interface
He concluded his address by stating about the following concepts with detailed explanation
Research model for representation of cyber threats in ML environment
Major applications of ML in cyber security
Digital forensics
Types of forensics
Disk imaging and analysis
Hacker profiles
Methods of criminal profiling
ML challenges in cyber security
Then the entire session was opened to the audience for clarification of their doubts and interaction. The entire session was much useful for all the participants
