?Dr.J.Dhilipan-HOD MCA, VICE PRINCIPAL ADMIN presented the welcome address. During his address he welcomed the chief guest and thanked him for accepting our invitation. He added that his presence added colors to the function.
?In continuation he highlighted about the glimpses of AI which is dominating the entire industry.
?The purpose of the FDP is to elevate the skills of research Scholars and faculty members to elevate their skillsets in research
?He concluded his address by requesting the participants to make use of the forum

?During his address he congratulated the efforts taken by HOD-MCA and the faculty member in organizing the event.
?He added that the faculty members shall conduct an FDP in pedagogical methods and concluded his address by advising the faculty members to elevate their skills in administration also

?Dr.C.Sundar, Principal CSH, offered felicitations. During his address he stated that College of Science and Humanities is conducting lots of FDP’S. This an opportunity for the faculty members to enrich their knowledge.
?We organiseprogrms with national and international standards. Machines are learning nowadays fast and machine to machine communications are taking place which simplify the process of decision making.
?He concluded his address by stating that the function like this is the need of the hour. Smart devices are collecting information with no human interaction and in future we have to compete with machines.
?He advised the participants to continue life long learning, that should be the Manthra for a successful career

?DR. V. SUBBIAH BHARATHI, DIRECTOR, SRMIST delivered the presidential address and expressed his gratitude for the chief guest
?He conveyed his wishes for the organizers for launching this technical event
?He added that SRMIST RAMAPURAM CAMPUS has already included some specilized courses in Faculty of Engineering and Technology ( B. Tech AI,ML, Cyber security)and in Science and Humanities ( BCA DATA SCIENCE)
?The topic taken today was highly novel where most of the researchers are carrying out their research work.
?The global market is highly dependent on AI&ML. Already 6 billion US dollars was invested and in next 5 years it will be around 300 billion US dollars.
?In India millions of IoT sensors have been installed and play an important role in different verticals. AI technology is already created a huge demand whereas the people with required skills for solving the problems is a big question mark.
?He concluded his address by stating that all the faculty members are to be trained in this new technology and requested the participants to make use of this forum

?️He added that a good topic has been chosen. In earlier days no professors were available for teaching AI and Expert system.
?️Now we have adapted to learn AI&ML and this is a clear indication of change in teaching/learning Era.
?️With AI AND ML we are able to get the results immediately where as this was difficult in earlier days.
?️Automation is the importance of Computer Science and we have a variety of ML algorithms
?️The deep learning techniques are important for your research work. Success of AI depends on how machines are going to learn.
?️Additionally IoT is playing a major role in research. Combining AI with IoT will create wonders in research
?️He concluded his address by explaining about the importance of automatic voting machines and he advised that the students are toinvolved in R&D. Lot of scope is available in Make in India projects.
