20 Days Community Engagement Programme

(In association with Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education, Ministry of HRD)

            SRM Institute of Science & Technology (SRMIST), Ramapuram Campus, College of Management (MBA) organized “20 Days Community Engagement Program” in association with Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education, Ministry of HRD from 03.07.2021 to 22.07.2021. The theme of the programme are creating awareness about vaccination among elderly people, distributing masks and medicines, counselling to the covid affected families and distribution of food to the needy people during the covid pandemic. Students provided medical masks to the health care workers and public in various places like Barpeta(Assam), Vadapalani , Mannapakkam and  Porur. Students were also creating awareness program to the elderly people about vaccination at villivakkam, Ashok nagar and Triplicane . Students distributed food to the needy people and covid affected families at Hosur, Besant nagar, Mogappair, Kodambakkam, Triplicane, Saligramam, Gerumgambakkam and Madivaakam. Students counselled the covid affected families and encouraging them to take vaccination shots at the earliest.

          The public thanked the students and the management for their social cause and College of Management thank the management for the opportunity given.
