To Celebrates “International Micro- Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises’ Day” by
conducting a Webinar on “Opportunities in MSME Sector in Tamil Nadu” ( 27/06/2023 –
Tuesday) (4.00 PM) at virtual mode. Asst.Prof Dr. D. Anto Pravin Singh gave an introductory
talk about insights on being productive in long run. Dr. R. Arul Moli, HOD gave an
introduction about MSME sector, it’s Opportunities and welcomed the chief guest Mr. Liaquat
Ali Baig – Chief Consultant – Strategy at ITCOt Limited (Joint venture of IFCI, SIPCOT, TIIC,
SIDCO and Banks) and all.
Cheif guest Mr. Liaquat Ali addressed the students by giving his introduction and
started a PPT presentation on Opportunities for MSME sector in Tamil Nadu and followed
insights on MSME growth towards 2023.He enlighten the students by giving knowledge on
registration process, eligibility for conducting MSME businesses and explained about the
available investment criteria (Micro, Small and Medium).He also explained about the investing
advantages and benefits of an MSME businesses to conduct especially in Tamil nadu and the
available financial assistances provided by various financial bodies like SIDBI, etc to enter into
MSME sector.
He also highlighted key topics like Public Procurement Policy, MSME Support System
by state and central government, Industrial Development Parks, Focus sectors, Sunrise Sectors,
Sectorial Policies of Tamilnadu, Special Incentives for EV sectors,Self Employment Loan
Schemes (UYEGP, PMEGP, NEEDS, AABCS), Incentive Schemes, Single Window Portal,
Pre-establishment and post-operations stage clearances for conducting MSME businesses in
Tamilnadu.Students asked their questions and it was answered.Program ended by giving vote
of thanks by Asst.Prof Dr. AL. Chidambaram. We the Department of MBA whole heartedly
thank our Management, Dr.C Sundar, Dean sir and Dr.R Arulmoli, HOD sir for providing an
opportunity to organize a wonderful programme for the better ment of students comnunity on
