THREE DAYS ORIENTATION PROGRAMMES FOR FRESHERS -2023
EVENT REPORT

The Department of Commerce -Honours conducted a Three Days Orientation Programme for Freshers -2023 Events from 10th July 2023 and 12th July 2023 titled “Orientation Programme” undergone for Firt Year Freshers Students.

DAY 1 (10/07/2023)
TOPIC: Embarking on the Professional Journey
Venue : East Block Room No. – 107

1.Guest Speaker : Dr. D. Janis Bibiyana (Timing :08.00AM to 09.00AM)

The Event was invocated by the HOD, Dr.D.Janis Bibiyana, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce – Hons, followed by the Welcome address and a short Introduction about the College rules and regulations Expert emphasised Skill Development and Explain about the CIMA Course. She encouraged the participants to give special focus on CIMA Courses. She listed the various steps in CIMA and also highlighted the action plan and arrange programmes for Professional Journey. Next Expert Mr. Krishna Moorthy explained deeply all the study areas in different aspects of CIMA Courses. Really it was a detailed description of the different strategies which definitely benefit to improve the professional style over line from the beneficial from the harbingers and helps the students to develop education content. Third Expect Mr. Sheery T. George was also explain about the course how to apply the Foundation examinations, Various kinds of methods can be followed about the CIMA Examination. Finally the vote of thanks was propounded by Dr. K. Srinivasan, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce – Hons.


DAY 2 (11/02/2023)

TOPIC: LearningnManagement System

Department of Commerce (Hons),
SRM IST University, Ramapuram.

The Event started with Welcome address by Mrs. V. Nivedha, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce – Hons and a short Introduction about the College parameter. Expert invoked his speech by insisting the students to think from the view of future fruitful career. He explained about business games and conducting Group discussion among the various topics the information and imbibed with present technology. Next Speaker Dr. J. Lalitha, she also listed out about the Techno – Pedagogy to incorporating a variety of digital technologies and New media impacts of learning management system, aware about the Examination pattern of srm College. Finally Dr. K. Srinivasan was discussed about the subject knowledge and syllabus framed by CIMA and explanation about Course Learning Outcomes And Programme Learning outcomes on CIMA syllabus Finally the vote of thanks was pronounced by Dr.D.Janis Bibiyana, Assistant Professor & Hod i/c, Department of Commerce – Hons.


DAY 3 (12/07/2023)

The Event started with Welcome address by HOD Dr. D Janis Bibiyana., Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce – Hons and a short Introduction about the Guest speaker parameter. Expert Dr. A. Jesintha Rani invoked his speech by insisting the students to think from the view of knowledge gathering games and conducting Group discussion among the various topics the information and imbibed with present Senario. Next Speaker Ms. V. Poornima, she also listed out about the students awerness in society and college to give motivational speech. Finally Ms. Anushka Venkat Alumini of SRM was discussed about the subject knowledge and syllabus discussed by CIMA and explanation about the College culturals, preveious experience about the college, knowledge sharing about CIMA Courses. Finally the vote of thanks was pronounced by Dr.K.Srinivasan, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce – Hons.
