Objectives:
• To educate students about the process of gaining a global professional certification while pursuing their graduation. By providing information on the benefits, opportunities, and challenges associated with certification course.
• To highlight success stories of students who have successfully completed certification courses alongside their undergraduate studies.
• To provide practical tips and strategies for students interested in pursuing professional certifications. Tips such as researching the course and understanding its value in the job market.
• To foster networking and collaboration among participants, connecting students with mentors, alumni, and professionals who could provide guidance and support in their certification endeavors.
Introduction
The event aimed to educate students about the process and benefits of obtaining a professional certification alongside their graduation, it provided valuable insights into the steps involved, resources available, and strategies for successfully completing a certification course while pursuing undergraduate studies.
Overview
The session commenced by 11:00 am. It was hosted by Ms. Durisha and the welcome address was delivered by Mr.Akash, with an opening address by Mr. Krishnamoorthy Venkatraman who has over 11 years of experience as the co-founder and Managing Director of Hrudyaa AdConSer Private Limited also as a co-founder of 9YARDZ and visiting professor, who provided an overview of the importance of professional certifications in today’s competitive job market and the opportunities they offer for career advancement. Following him, Sathya a third-year bcom hons professional accounting student from SRM katankalathur, shared his personal experience of completing a certification course called SEEMA during his undergraduate studies. He shared valuable tips and tricks, including the importance of researching the course, understanding its value, and managing the associated fees. The session was very interactive and the students gained awareness about career advancement and opportunities. The guest was felicitated and the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr.Anirudh.
Conclusion
The event provided students valuable insights, inspiration and practical guidance for pursuing professional certifications alongside their undergraduate studies. By educating students about the benefits, highlighting success stories, providing practical tips, offering guidance, resources, fostering networking and collaboration. The event empowered
participants to explore opportunities for personal and professional development through certification courses.
