FIRST YEAR ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
The Department of Visual Communication organized the first year Orientation Programme on Aug 18th, 2022. Total 115 students participated in this.The first session started with Alumni speech by Ms. Divya Janardhanam (2015-2017) batch who is working as Manager – Creatives & production, Tamada Media and Mr. Kideon (2018-2021),Actor-Short films. They shared their journey, experiences, challenges and future scope and opportunities in the media industry. In the next segment the final year students gave a warm welcome to freshers by dance, singing and interactions. The Chief guest of the session Mr. RJ Suresh,Chief Operating Officer, Hello FM gave his valuable presence. The felicitation was given by our Head of the Department Dr. V. Prabakaran. RJ Suresh addressed the gathering sharing his experiences/ journey in Broadcast media and challenges in media industry. He also added about Internship and career opportunities in Hello FM 106.4. The first year students were really inspired by his speech and got new hopes and expectations from the department. The session was very energetic and interactive which ended with vote of thanks.
