The Department of Computer Science have organized Faculty Industry Immersion Program (FIIP) on 07.10.2022, with Phillip Capital Inc. , Chennai One IT Sez Park,Thoraipakkam, Chennai-600 097.Technical Session on QA Automation Testing Session handled by Mr. VenkattesanDu, Senior Test Lead at Phillip Capital Inc.,Chennai. Session was coordinated by Mr.D.Siva,Assistant Professor / CS.

The Session started with Introduction about the company and their products.He described about traditional waterfall model and the newage agile model ,it’s advantages and how it provides customer satisfaction through the rapid delivery of a working software product. He also Clearly explained about API (Application Programme Interface), a type of software testing used to verify the interfaces between application, functionality, security, performance, and reliability.He mentioned the testing tools Opensource,Paid Softwares and frameworks used in Automation testing :

In addition, he discussed how the Selenium Cucumber framework allows test scenarios to be written using natural language constructs.He showed the demo of sample application testing. He also gave Placement tips regardingCommunication and Technical skills.The session was extremely beneficial to students.
